VUKOVI's alt-metal, and electro-pop, new single 'SLO'.

VUKOVI's incredible new single was released 2 days ago; the combination of alt-metal, and electro pop makes the song intoxicating.

The beautiful new track, significantly, portrays personal conflicts for the lead singer. Janine Shilstone had this to say about the latest song- 'SLO is comparing my OCD to an abusive relationship. You have a warped outlook on what healthy behaviour is. You forget what it’s like living a normal life. It has this god like status that makes you believe you wouldn’t survive if it was ever to leave you. You have a toxic reliance on it and in your eyes that condones reckless behaviour.'

The single has came after the band's previous album, released in early 2020. 'Fall Better', similarly to the latest single, features references to the front-woman's Obsessive Complusive Disorder; the band's artwork seems to be heavily influenced by the vocalist's internal conflicts with mental health issues.

It is currently unknown whether 'SLO' will be a stand-alone single, or, alternatively, whether the band have any plans of releasing another album. It is most likely that VUKOVI will keep the track as a singular release, or as a part of an EP, as it seems unlikely that the band would gift us with another album so soon after 'Fall Better'.
